ICDP is responsible for coordinating community based
prevention programs, activities and events that support alcohol, tobacco and
other drug and violence prevention in Irvine. Together with our
partners, ICDP coordinates and hosts the following Red Ribbon programs,
activities and events:

Supporting youth developed programs,
activities and events is a priority for ICDP.
- Youth Creating Change
(YCC) promotes social norms, develops service
opportunities and supports school transition
programs in Irvine.
- Irvine
Prevention Coalition Student Board brings high
school and college students together to
coordinate and host a variety of community based
prevention projects each year.
In addition, ICDP partners with the Irvine Prevention
Coalition to support several other community programs including:
- Outstanding Supporter of Prevention (OSP) Awards
- Student Service Awards
- Irvine Family Fun Fair & Fun Run
